A few simple tips to improve your home’s value

Before selling, there are a number of quick fixes to help you maximise the appeal (and selling price!) of your residence. Some of these tips are more costly than others, but all will help to create a great first impression.

De-Clutter
Make your property appear light, spacious and welcoming by decluttering throughout. This means removing knick-knacks, ornaments, photos and even furniture – freeing up space for buyers to imagine their life in your home.

Clean Slate
A sparkling clean home indicates that a property is loved and valued. Less-than-fresh bathrooms, kitchens and floors create an on-the-nose impression that is hard to shift, so ensure that your whole residence is spick-n-span.

Garden Makeover:  A neat garden creates a good impression, particularly in spring. Mow lawns, weed and mulch carefully before planting your garden beds with colourful flowers. Time poor? Call in the gardeners!

Fresh Paint
Nothing says fresh and new like a coat of paint! Think neutral colour palettes to suit all potential purchasers. Bring in painters, or DIY with care.
